thought to the year. I know I have added value to myself as
a result. May I wish you and tgiMondays a very happy, healthy
and prosperous Year"
David B
"I
just wanted to wish you a Merry Xmas and Prosperous New Year
and thank you so much for your wonder tgimondays emails. I used
to work in marketing for both large and small organizations
but now I am a lady of leisure. Your emails have stopped me
from mentally vegetating!"
"Thank
you for your regular tgiMondays - they have certainly brightened
my Mondays and created several thought provoking moments"

very much for being faithful and consistent in sending the Monday
messages. They do make a difference"
Noah
"It
has been a Monday treat to see what you are going to write each
week. As a very positive individual anyway, has it done me any
good to get this positive feedback each week? - ABSOLUTELY,
if only to ensure there is at least one other in the world with
the same happy and motivational thoughts. Thank you!"
Craig
"Thank
you for sending me your messages regularly. Let me take this
opportunity to wish you"
Mrs. Zsuzsanna Sarkozi Zagoni
"Great
year end thoughts but just what I expect from the Master! Thank
you for everything, your help your inspiration, and most of
all your friendship. Very best wishes to you Sharon, the family
and the team at PTI"
Will
"Well
done YOU for reminding us. It took me more than 60 years to
be able to look in the mirror and like (better still love) the
woman I saw reflected. Never too late. And I now acknowledge
and revel in, the love of my grandchildren. For them, at present
and they are all under five, I'm perfect!"
Jilly
"Now
that is a ground shaking message! Am massively enjoying each
Monday's emails!"
Neil
"I
always enjoy your Monday morning message as I enjoy the wit
& wisdom of quotations and have several volumes of them
to prove it. However, I recently saw a quote that I just love
and it was actually on a t-shirt. It is; 'Elvis is dead - get
over it! Now this may be a little controversial but it is so
true for so many people and a little more amusing than 'onwards
& upwards' don't you think?"
Claire B
"I
thought I would take this opportunity to thank you for your
"motivational" message which I received last week.
SPEED STUNS. Well it certainly does! Since last week I have
attempted to return every telephone call, reply to every letter
and deal with every sales enquiry straight away. This is has
been meet with astonishment from clients who probably do not
receive this attention from the people they deal with everyday!
Please note I have always tried to deliver "awesome"
service in the past but Speed Stuns and works! Thank you for
your weekly messages, as a home- based account manager these
messages are the right "lift" for the week ahead!
Have a wonderful week"
Rob G
"Thank
you again for wonderful emails. I live in Dallas, Texas
so that might account for Sunday delivery."
Gregory S
"Have
been receiving these messages for a few months now but as yet
have not quite been urged to respond...until this morning. This
attitude is so right!!! I have recently moved into a new flat,
involving all the necessary spending that comes with it. Consequently
I have indeed been finding things less comfortable than usual
and have occasionally found myself thinking "poor"
but promptly shook myself out of it. Will continue to do so
until I can truly "think rich" again."
Jan
"I
just wanted to say how much I enjoy your Monday messages."
Melanie
"Just
wanted to drop you a very quick line to say I borrowed your
technique that you used on Debby's headache for a friend of
mine who's having some major mother/daughter relationship issues.
I got her to think about the problem, to ask her "mind"
if she was ready/allowed to let the negative thoughts go and
then did the different, shape, texture, taste, smells several
times and then at the end got her to blow the negative thoughts
into the distance...This was a week ago and this weekend she
told me that she is a changed person and every time she starts
to think negatively, she simply blows the funny shaped, smelly,
furry, tasty thing away! She's so much better and totally happy;
so thanks for that little gem!"
Theo
"Again,
brilliant Glad to be plugged in...feeling like I have the "edge"!
Always, thanks."
Jae
"You
are right: this was indeed a special message. I already knew
the story though I particularly appreciated your personal comments
and account. It is a 'thought' provoking story, your own! Thank
you for this"
Angela
"Thanks
Peter. This hit the spot with me head on! Thanks for the
nudge!"
Sue
"One of the
reasons that I subscribe to Peter Thomson and tgiMondays is that it gives me
that positive start to my week. Peter shares his experience and keeps me
motivated so I can spread that feeling to others.
Thank you Peter
for some great products."
Phil Heath
"I've usually found the TGI Mondays memos short, incisive and
HENCE useful. Its often the small easy to make changes that can have the the
most profound change because we can the USE / IMPLEMENT them in our lives. The
drastic changes would have significant effects, however, we are less likely to
implement them. That's why I find your memos so useful."
Atul Thakrar.
"TGI Mondays is always an inspiration! This week you gave us the rather
unpleasant image of being cut in half, it took me a minute to understand your
meaning but when the "click" happened I came up with the answer "Find out"
Find out - how far I can take my talent
Find out - what is around the next corner
Find out - what will be my next improvement Cant stop now I must find out"
Peter Swidrak
"About tgiM, that is the thing I was waiting for so long. I developed my paradigm
such a way that every day is the first day of the week for me. So when I come to
office I could continue to care and inspire my staff with the same energy
strength and love till the end of the week.
With all the new thoughts that come out as message, many of them I take a
printout and give it to my colleagues to read and stay inspired.
I did ask the same question, but I know I have immense space to grow before I
could think and answer.
Continue doing that. It is helping inspiring me and many others, on the other
side of the globe. Thanks to internet and the network I have developed through
internet, though you would never know me."
Rana D Mazumder
HR Manager
"I need constant free advice and inspiration. You
provide me with lots of free ideas and I can look at offers of different tools
that are available for people who want to break out of the 9 - 5 doldrums. I
haven't quite broken free of the factory cycle just yet, but I have uncovered
new opportunities. Your toolbox 190 on NETWORKING was a gem. My friends have
helped me get into new opportunities and thats one of the great rewards of
networking. Now I see that this is how I can create more opportunities."
Greg Smith
"TGIMONDAYS, setting you up for the week ahead in thought, word and deed. The
Think easy and do deliberately. Do I make sense.... Go on then (to borrow a
phrase)."
Irma
"I just want to let you know how much I look forward to your emails with the wise
and often a little quirky messages. It is good to look at life from different
viewpoints and the viewpoints you provide with TGIMondays are always thought
provoking and valuable.
Of course its a great idea to join in making the world a better place and the
only way it can happen is if each one of us takes responsibility for how we are
creating it.
Thank you for your generousity in sharing your ideas."
Margaret Williamson
"Just a short note to say I really look forward to Mondays for two
reasons, one I love what I do! and second, for your tgiMonday thoughts. Some
weeks they inspire, some motivate and other are just very thought provocking....thanks
for adding to my great Monday feeling!"
David Hawes
"If you want to receive a short useful tip from a master communicator and
business guru every Monday, you want to receive Peter Thomson’s TGI Monday
newsletter.
I subscribe to many email newsletters. Some contain nothing of interest, Others
are too long or too fancy. I don’t both to read most of them any more. But I
always make time to read TGI Mondays as I know Peter has written it so that it
is easy to assimilate; that it will make me stop and think; and because I know
I’ll enjoy the experience. I always do. And I couldn’t say the same thing
about any of the other email newsletters I receive every day of the week.
Keep up the good work Peter and many thanks for being a constant source of
inspiration and a positive role model."
Mark Lee FCA CTA (Fellow) MMC
"As ever, it's a hectic Monday; nothing special,
just that 'after the weekend' feeling of getting back in touch. (If it's been a
good weekend, work has been completely forgotten since Friday). I remember to check my e-mails every now and
then, and I always stop whatever I'm doing long enough to read the Monday
message. It doesn't take long. Sometimes the Monday message is immediately
relevant; other times I store it away for future use. Either way, it invariably
makes me think about what I'm doing (instead of just doing it and thinking
later!)"
Pauline Kitchen
"Just a quick message to say how much I enjoy reading your positive messages each
week.
In fact I enjoy the thought provoking information so much I have told every one
in my benchmarking group, many of whom now subscribe to your tgiMonday message
as well.
All the best and keep up the flow of positive info!"
Alistair Goodwin
"Thank you for promoting active thought!"
Peter Hool FCA
"I look forward to my weekly e-mails. They put me in the right state of mind for
the rest of the week. Although i am only 22 and in the middle of my PhD, i feel
you can adapt what you say to many different scenarios. There are not that many
positive people about, and at times they tend to bring you down. However "its
not how far you fall, but how high you bounce"! Positive thinking def helps one
get back on track!"
Laura Thom
"Dear Peter, just a line to thank you for continuing to inspire me at the
beginning of each week. Your messages are always fresh and thought provoking,
and I often use some of the tips within 24 hours."
Sue Daly
"I am a Managing Director of a very high pressured and stressful business that I
sometimes find hard to cope with. Every Monday I receive your wonderful
motivational emails that make sure that I take a moment out to think about
being ON
the business instead of
IN
the business. Many a time your tool tips have taken me down a different path
that I have always been grateful for. Please keep up the good work.
From a very grateful MD!"
Linda Narbeth
Managing Director
"Having worked in the corporate world for some time, I have now moved on follow
my dreams and I am one of the full-time leaders of a vibrant Church of 1300
active members in the heart of Nottingham. We are seeking to do good in our
city, to change and improve lives, by the thousand - yet one person at a time.
We give hope to the broken, purpose to the so-called successful, direction to
the next generation. As someone who needs to lead with passion, cast compelling
visions, speak with wisdom and authority, I am amazed by the continuous high
level of inspiration and creativity that comes through tgimondays. I regularly
forward the link to others – not because I have a bag of spare time, but because
the thought is worth a bigger audience. You have helped me raise my game on
more than one Monday morning and most weeks give me fuel for the fire. Bring it
on…"
Martin Storey
"I have been receiving your inspirational notes…comments and stories for over 6
months now. Each time it appears in my in tray I wonder which direction we will
be going today? The answer is always different and thought provoking…… Have a
Great Monday and many more Fantastic non-Mondays…"
Paul Tuffs
"With so many time pressures we never read all we should, TGI Mondays takes very
little time and is ALWAYS worth MORE THAN the time it needs to read it"
Simon Reichwald
"I've been a subscriber for 2.5 years to TGI Mondays and even though I subscribe
to a few other personal development ezines, I always read TGI Monday's without
fail because it's quick and easy to digest, you get straight to the point and
it's always rammed full of refreshingly "uncommon sense."
Alistair Wright
"Only just discovered this exceptional site. Not only useful ideas, but also
inspiration!!
Keep up the good work Peter and team!"
