"So, What's Yours?"

Just
the other day – I heard just a fabulous story.
It
made me smile…
It
brought a little tear to my eye…
And
it made me realize…
Here it is…
There was a young boy, aged about 5 years, in his first painting class. He was
busy drawing and painting when the teacher ambled up behind him and looked over
his shoulder.
“Tom”, she said. “Who’s that in your picture?”
“Well, Miss” he replied, “It’s a picture of God”
“But
Tom” she said; “No one knows what He looks like!”
Tom
immediately replied “They will when I’m finished!”
Don’t you just love it!
And
isn’t it just so true – children are so creative, children have so much
confidence, children are just so curious about everything in life.
And so…
With
this in mind – isn’t it strange how some adults think they aren’t confident,
they aren’t creative, they’ve lost their curiosity.
Just think if you and I started every day saying…
I am
creative
I am
confident
I am
curious
Yes every day…
I am
crea – tive
I am
con-fi-dent!!
I am
enthused with curiositiness
Ooooooooooohhhhhhh!
What
a start to the day this is – true or true?
Shall we try it and see what happens?
Was
that thousands of ‘Yeses’ I just heard murmuring purposefully through the ether
– you know – I think it was.
Go on then...
