"He has never given me indigestion!"
Hello
Jonah writes some brilliant stuff – but
occasionally he confuses the heck out my enquiring mind – and forces me to stop.
Now I don’t know about you...
But I actually don’t object to this ‘stopping’
as when I do it’s just amazing what happens.
You see...
The last time there were three!
Yes – in just four pages there were three
words I either didn’t know the meaning of - or at least wasn’t absolutely
certain.
Here are...
Those three words - see if you know
them before you scroll
down the page:
1.
Perfuse (page 148)
2.
Fungible (page 151)
3.
Paeans (page 152)

Here are the meanings:
Perfuse:
to force a liquid through a body part or tissue
Fungible:
able to be exchanged for something of equal
value
Paeans:
expressions of praise
Now it was...
Harder for you because at least I saw the
words in the context of the sentences in which they appeared.
So here are the points I want to make – and
I’ll do it with questions if you don’t mind:
Are you learning something new – every
day?
Are you increasing your vocabulary
every week?
Are you discovering an ‘edge’ at least
every month?
You know...
I just love the expression:
The world will belong to the learners; whereas
the learned will find themselves perfectly prepared for a world that no longer
exists.
Seem to sum it all up rather nicely – doesn’t
it?
Action points – you know what to do don’t you?
So I’m off to do some of it – will you too?
Yes? Fantastic!
Go on then...
