"Prince Charming - Prince Charming..."
Hello
And for a recent holiday Sharon (my wife) had bought a CD set to play in the
hire car whilst we were driving around Spain.
It was great hearing...
So many of the songs I’d sung along to years ago. Strange how the words come so
easily flooding back into our minds isn’t it – I’m wondering if I should put my
marketing messages to music – or at the very least create rhymes and poems to
make them more recallable – just a thought isn’t it?
Anyway...
One of the tracks, as you’ve surely guessed based on the headline and picture,
was ‘Prince Charming’ by the ‘break the mould’ character – Adam Ant (real name:
Stuart Goddard). I wonder if the phonological ambiguity of his name ever landed
in the minds of most of his followers! He certainly was certain if not adamant
in his views!
So now...
To the main point of my thoughts for you today – and they’re based on a line
from the ‘Prince Charming’ track.
It occurs...
Six times and by its very repetition gets so easily into your mind – becoming a
programme to live by!
Here it is...
“Ridicule is nothing to be scared of...”
And...
Isn’t it just so true!
So I was wondering just how many times you and I have been ‘stopped in our
adventuring tracks’ from getting what we want; experiencing what we may;
enjoying what’s so easily available to us – by allowing the potential of
ridicule to be a red light.
So often...
So many don’t take the plunge into success because of this potential – what a
shame!
I’ve decided...
The possibility of ridicule seldom comes to fruition so I’m stepping off the
edge more and more – after all what’s the worst that can happen?
Will you join me?
Go on then...
