"What do you do with these?"
Hello
You and I are good!
Yes!
Very, very, very good - at certain things –
true?
However...
By the same ticket or token – and by the ying
and yang of life – we also will NOT be so good at other stuff – also true?
And the question is...
What the heck do we do about the second
category?
1.
Do we just leave them?
2.
Do we attack them?
Or do we do...
What some very successful people do: – they
often decide to employ someone else to do whatever needs doing.
You see...
There are various ways we can handle the stuff
we’re not so hot at handling. We can learn more, discover more and set out to
improve our skills and our abilities and our results!
And...
I’m a great believer in this method –
otherwise we’d never improve at anything.
However...
There will be some ‘things which need doing’
where the learning curve is so steep – and, or, but the result is needed now –
where it’s a better option to bring in the expertise and experience of someone
else- to help us get the results we want.
For example:
I’m certain I could learn how to programme a
website, and get it live on the Net – but I don’t. I use the expertise of
someone with massive experience in that area.
So here are my questions for you...
1. Are there any frowning areas where you’d consider
yourself to be NOT at the level you'd like?
2.
If so – what will you do about it?
a.
Leave it be – after all who cares!
b.
Get better – by learning how to do what needs to be
done
c.
Get someone else to do the doing of the thing which
needs doing
There are times...
When NOT improving (for the moment) and using
the expertise and experience and knowledge another person has worked hard to
garner – can get us a far better ‘what we need’.
And....
Leave us with the time to concentrate on the
‘things’ we do ‘oh so’ brilliantly! Leaving the so called weaknesses wherever
they may lie.
In like manner...
The ululation of a passing police car;
the
frown of an unconnected person;
the forgotten taste of a dish unliked are things
we can so easily
ignore.
Give this thought?
Go on then...
