"They've all got one!"

I’ve been thinking again!

It’s something to do from time to time isn’t it?

And…

In my ruminations, cogitations and ponderings
I’ve noticed something so many ‘successful’ people
have – and I considered whether they had it and then
became successful – or…

They became successful and then had it.

Well…

It seems almost EVERY successful person I look at,
regardless of their arena of expertise, their field of focus,
their open space of operation – has taken the time to
write, create and market their thoughts, their expertise,
their experiences – in some form of published medium.

Often…

It’s a book – perhaps written by the ubiquitous ghost.
 

Perhaps an audio programme, a DVD, a download MP3/4
or .pdf – maybe a page-turn manuscript of musings and
methods allied to their skill set.

Have you seen them?

The footballers, the business leaders, the up-and-coming
stars in every – every!

And so…

My thinking was along the lines:

Did they write the book and become successful

OR

Did they become successful and write the book.

It became clear when…

I realized it was all about the profession:

Pop stars – write the songs and become successful.

Footballers and cricketers and tennisers and sports
people – become successful and write the book.

Actors become successful and write the book, star
in a fitness video – or produce a guide to…

Chefs write the book and become successful.

And in my own field…

Coaches, speakers, consultants, therapists,
presenters, trainers become EVEN MORE

SUCCESSFUL when they write their book,
record their audio, film their DVD!

It seems the pre-requisite for increased success
in this field is to be recognized as the one to go
to; the one who’ll share their lessons from life,
the one who might just know that extra little
special which makes such a difference.
