"Matter Over Mind?"
Hello

Having just returned from a two day workshop I was running – my mind has been
spinning with not just the new connections made and the old connections re-made
but with a special thought about the way you and I connect with other humans.
You see…
On
the workshop – I was always ‘banging on’ about being yourself and needing to be
prepared to deal with the ‘feedback’ we get from our interactivity with others.
And I realized…
Some
time ago – I’d been given the answer.
Perhaps I’m fortunate that my colleagues and friends are of such a similar
outlook – and share my views about ‘only dealing with people we like’ – and
because of this – the feedback we get is nigh on always – positive.
Well
– not a l w a y s – but most of the time :-)
And so…
Here’s the expression, which can carry you and me through any feedback of any
type.
“Those who mind don’t matter and
Those who matter don’t mind!”
Isn’t this just beautiful?
People who love and care for us are perfectly prepared for us to be ourselves –
foibles, characters traits, unusual ways and all.
People who respect – are just the same.
And…
On
the flip side of the pancake:
There are those who struggle with the way we are.
Oh
well – that’s the way it is:
“Those who mind don’t matter and
Those who matter don’t mind!”
Perhaps going forward you might just have this thought in your mind when the
occasion arises when it will be perfect – Mind Over Matter!
Go
on then!
