"Have Your Checked Yours Lately?"
Hello

And
I was listening to the speaker as she shared some brilliant ideas about being
more persuasive, especially when standing at the front.
When…
She
said something to focus my attention even more acutely than it had been before.
She
was talking about communication and said:
“Most problems are created by communication and most problems can be solved with
communication!”
oohhhh…
And
– isn’t she just so right?
My
thinking is – to take a look at any problem area of my life – be that business,
home, personal, professional, social etc etc etc and work out:
What
the problem is
Where the heart of the problem may lay
And
– if, as she suggested, communication is the problem – what I can communicate
in order to put things right.
Let me give you…
Some
examples:
A
lost client connection – could well be just a few words in an email – meant one
way – taken another
A
partner upset – communication missing when it should have been present
A
child sulking – orders issued as orders
Might it…
Be
worth a few moments for a quick look around and see if there are any ‘problems’
solvable with a sprinkling of some mellifluous words?

Go on then...
